In the early days, a company that wanted to subsidise their staff lunches, but not run a canteen, had to have vouchers printed and make arrangements with one or more local restaurants to accept them.
In addition, it would have to administer the scheme for instance by checking and counting the vouchers returned from the restaurants prior to settling their account. In , a businessman, John Hack, realised that a single standardised voucher acceptable across the UK would be more logical and efficient. He subsequently started the Luncheon Vouchers Company in to implement the nationwide Luncheon Voucher scheme.
In , nine large catering companies purchased the company, with Hack staying on as managing director. The company was bought by Accor in Restaurants that accept the vouchers display an "LV" logo in their windows.

The only thing I would like to see is that you guys should change the deals on the voucher section each week. Thanks for nice feedback!
Understood on the deals; we'll see what we can do. Felt I needed to update my original review following all my previous negative ones. For a change, and for a while now it has been working perfectly.
Took a while to get there though. The only real downside is that there are always the same old offers on the same old items.
It would be nice if different items were added every so often to break the monotony. For some considerable time it kept crashing or not opening up while in a Burger King branch. Would work outside, but not in.fupampnickberf.tk
London Vouchers - BrokeinLondon
Was almost like each BK branch had a blocker to prevent the app from opening, therefore depriving customers of the savings they were hoping for. So, dear readers, check the dates of the reviews to understand why there were so many negative ones. This would be a great app if you changed the deals more often but my biggest gripe is that the deals are not valid in all your shops! I fed this back via a phone call to your customer services who could not offer any resolution apart from saying that the franchisees were not obliged to honour the offers.
Bit of a waste of time really! Not clever, and embarrassing for your customers who go into your shops to use the app!
